Empowering the youth, plays a crucial role in fuelling the Social and Economic growth of the country. This realization is expected to bridge the gap between Education and Employment. Employers seek workforce with technical & hard skills coupled with soft & life skills, which comes from job oriented skilling. Currently, national missions such as ‘Make in India’ and ‘Start-up India’ have been leveraging the huge talent pool available in the country, thereby creating more job opportunities. Hence, the need-of-the hour requires to focus more on career readiness and employability skills apart from formal education.

Prof. Nayak has played a leading role in creating platform for Blended Skilling on highend technologies and soft skills to develop the young mass with desired virtues thereby creating industry-ready workforce. He has been instrumental in taking initiatives in implementing various NSQF aligned assessment and certification of Rubber and Petrochemical sector Skill Council. Currently, he is in the process of enabling the graduate students both for STEM and even non-STEM at University level to consume industry led industry curated content so that they enhance their employability.
